EASTBOURNE EAGLES V COVENTRY BEES
COVENTRY Bees are forced into a number of changes for Saturday's Elite League trip to Eastbourne.
Injuries and commitments elsewhere mean that only two of the regular team members will be on duty at Arlington - skipper Chris Harris and Danish star Hans Andersen.
Bees will continue to use the rider replacement facility for Simon Stead, who hopes to make his comeback from a broken collarbone in Monday's home match against Swindon.
With Olly Allen ruled out with rib damage after his crash on Thursday, Rory Schlein makes a rapid return to Bees colours as a guest - subject to his own fitness after a crash at Lakeside earlier this week.
Billy Janniro is back in the United States looking to secure the national title, and Glasgow skipper Shane Parker has been booked to stand in.
Parker will be making the same journey from Scotland as Bees asset Ryan Fisher - the two are on opposing sides in Friday's Edinburgh v Glasgow derby, but they will be team-mates on Saturday as Fisher again comes in with Ben Barker unavailable due to a home match for Stoke in the Premier League.
Finally, Filip Sitera is also unavailable due to a clashing fixture in the Czech Republic, so Bees bring in youngster Joe Haines, who actually rode for them in the reverse fixture against the Eagles at Brandon.
Eastbourne cannot reach the Elite League play-offs, but they are into the Knockout Cup Final, and have been one of the form teams in the last month, led by former Bees riders Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson.
EASTBOURNE: Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Lee Richardson, Cameron Woodward, Edward Kennett, Tomas Suchanek, James Brundle.
COVENTRY BEES: Hans Andersen, Simon Stead R/R, Chris Harris, Shane Parker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Fisher, Joe Haines.
